Two Players Tied for the 54-Hole Lead Heading Into Championship Sunday

After three rounds, Brian Davis and Roland Thatcher share the lead with a three round total of 12-under 198. Davis tied for the low round of the day with a 64, while Thatcher fired a 65.

In a day where most competitors had to play more than 18 holes to get back on schedule, scores overall were lower due to the soft conditions. Davis had the hot hand early as he fired a 29 on the front.

“Just one of those days I came out hot. Every club was the perfect club,” said Davis. “I seemed to be hitting my shots in the right spot where I had an uphill putt.”

The final round will begin at 8:30 a.m. tomorrow with players paired in twosomes teeing off the first hole. Davis and Thatcher will tee off at 2:00 p.m.
