The Travelers Championship, Connecticut’s largest annual professional sporting event, is part of the PGA TOUR’s season-long FedExCup series. Each year, the tournament donates 100 percent of its net proceeds to charity and also provides a platform for its charitable partners raising awareness for their missions. In 2023, the Travelers Championship generated more than $3 million for over 180 charities throughout the region. The tournament has contributed more than $53 million to the local community since its inception in 1952. In addition to all that goes to charity, the event annually drives an economic boost of nearly $70 million to the state and region.
