The Travelers Championship, Connecticut’s largest annual professional sporting event, is part of the PGA TOUR’s season-long FedExCup series. Each year, the tournament donates 100 percent of its net proceeds to charity and also provides a platform for its charitable partners raising awareness for their missions.
In 2024, the tournament generated over $3.2 million for more than 206 charities, bringing the total donation since 2007 to more than $31 million dispersed among 900 non-profits. In addition to all that goes to charity, the event drives an economic boost of nearly $70 million to the state and region annually.
