Women’s Day On Thursday Highlighted by Bridget Moynahan & Anna Quindlen
For the fourth-straight year, Women’s Day presented by Travelers accompanied the first round of the Travelers Championship.
The day was highlighted by two keynote speakers during a breakfast and lunch event at TPC River Highlands. Best-selling author Anna Quindlen was the keynote speaker for the Women’s Day Breakfast and accomplished actress and model Bridget Moynahan, who starred in movies such as I-Robot, Coyote Ugly, Serendipity, Sum of All Fears, and currently stars in the CBS hit show Blue Bloods, was the featured speaker at lunch.
The event began at 7 a.m. with networking, followed Quindlen who spoke about her life and career. At noon, the lunch featured Moynahan who was interviewed by Fox CT’s Allison Morris. Moynahan discussed her career and her support of The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp.
In addition to the breakfast and lunch, women were able to take part in a golf clinic at the tournament’s practice facility, receive tours of the Golf Channel studio and participate in one of the tours of the golf course, where a TPC River Highlands professional showed them the best places to watch the golf tournament.
