RENOWNED LIFESTYLE EXPERT MARTHA STEWART AND CELEBRITY CHEF CAT CORA TO HEADLINE WOMEN’S DAY AT 2015 TRAVELERS CHAMPIONSHIP
HARTFORD, Conn., May 4, 2015 – The Travelers Championship today announced that its 2015 Women’s Day Breakfast will feature Martha Stewart, one of the world’s most successful entrepreneurs, and celebrity chef Cat Cora. The seventh annual Women’s Day, sponsored by Travelers, will be held on Thursday, June 25, at TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, Connecticut, and will benefit tournament charities including The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp, which serves children with serious illnesses.
Women’s Day officially begins with a special networking breakfast that will include an interactive cooking demonstration with Cora, where she will offer tips for cooking some of her most popular dishes. Stewart will then share her journey to success, which has led to a recently elevated focus on healthy living. In addition to the Women’s Day Breakfast, all women attending the tournament on Women’s Day will be offered complimentary tours of the Golf Channel studio, preferred bleacher seating, a 10 percent discount at the official merchandise tent, and a golf clinic at the tournament’s practice facility.
