14 Players Within Three Shots of the Lead Heading Into the Third Round
After the end of the second round of play, defending champion Fredrik Jacobson still holds the lead at 9-under. Behind him stand 14 players within three strokes of the lead.
The second round of play was contested over a two-day span due to two different weather delays. J.B. Holmes had the low round as he fired an 8-under par 62 to put him a mere one stroke off the lead. Camilo Villegas and Blake Adams each posted 6-under par 64s to sit one and two strokes back respectively. Will Claxton joins Holmes and Villegas for a tie for second.
Third round action will begin at 12:30 p.m. EDT where players will tee off in threesomes off holes no. 1 and no. 10.
