SPIN DOCTORS AND COUNTRY DUO LOCASH HEADLINE THE CONCERT SERIES PRESENTED BY POWERSTATION EVENTS AND XFINITY AT 2019 TRAVELERS CHAMPIONSHIP

HARTFORD, Conn., June 3, 2019 — The Travelers Championship today announced that the Spin Doctors and country duo LOCASH will headline the Concert Series presented by Powerstation Events and Xfinity at this year’s tournament. Concerts will begin shortly after the last putt drops, approximately 7 p.m., with Spin Doctors playing Friday, June 21 and LOCASH taking the stage Saturday, June 22 in the Stanley Black & Decker Fan Zone. Anyone with a ticket to the tournament the day of the concert can attend.

Spin Doctors are an American rock band that has been around since the 1980s, when they were known as Trucking Company. Their debut studio album was released in August 1991, titled “Pocket Full of Kryptonite,” and featured several of their most popular songs, including “Little Miss Can’t Be Wrong,” “Two Princes” and the title song, which also reached No. 3 on the Billboard charts. The band was nominated for an American Music Award for Favorite Pop/Rock Album in 1994 and received a Grammy nomination in 1994 for Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal.

LOCASH is the duo of Chris Lucas and Preston Brust. With two albums and eight charting singles to their credit, LOCASH broke out in 2015 with “I Love This Life,” followed by “I Know Somebody,” their first trip to the top of the country music charts. In 2017, they earned their first round of awards show recognition, nominated at the ACM Awards for New Vocal Duo or Group of the Year, the CMT Music Awards for Duo Video of the Year (“I Know Somebody”), and the CMA Awards for Vocal Duo of the Year. Their latest single, “Feels Like A Party,” is the pair’s first release with their new label. The 2019 ACM Duo of the Year nominee released their new album “Brothers” in March.

Supporting sponsors of this year’s Concert Series are Stanley Black & Decker, Country 92.5, and The River 105.9.
