Volunteer Party Update
Unfortunately due to the weather forecast, tonight’s volunteer party is canceled. We will not be able to reschedule this event in the same capacity, but we will definitely be looking for a way to engage volunteers prior to the 2017 Travelers Championship.
Although we are canceling the event, we are excited to announce the following 2016 Travelers Championship Awards sponsored by Hartford HealthCare:
- Volunteer of the Year—Stacey Perzan, Skybox Committee — Thanks to Hartford HealthCare, Stacey will also be receiving a $2,000 donation to the charity of her choice!
- Executive Committee Volunteer of the Year – John Mayo, Media Committee
- Best Team Player – Mary Beth Williams, Gallery Committee
- Rookie of the Year – Michael DeRosa, Pro-Ams, Skyboxes and Event Services Committee
- Most Charismatic – Joseph Roy, Administration Committee
Congratulations and thank you to these exemplary volunteers! Another email will be sent later this week announcing door prize winners.
Thank you to our supportive partners, Bear’s Smokehouse BBQ and Hartford HealthCare, in the preparation of this event. We also want to thank all of you again for an amazing 2016 tournament and your continued dedication.
