HARRINGTON TO COMPETE AT THE HIGHLANDS

THREE-TIME MAJOR WINNER PADRAIG HARRINGTON ADDED TO TRAVELERS CHAMPIONSHIP FIELD

CROMWELL, Conn., June 11, 2010 – The Travelers Championship announced today that Padraig Harrington committed to play in the 2010 Travelers Championship in Cromwell, Conn. This will be Harrington’s second visit to TPC River Highlands, with his first coming in 2007.

Currently 14th in the world golf rankings, Harrington has 21 total career wins internationally, including three majors. He won the 2007 and 2008 British Open Championships as well as the 2008 PGA Championship. Harrington is a five-time member of the European Ryder Cup squad. He also has played in 11 World Cups and five Dunhill Cups.

“We are very excited to have Padraig playing in the Travelers Championship this year,” said Nathan Grube, tournament director for the Travelers Championship. “Players of his caliber help raise fan excitement and visibility for the tournament, which in turn helps us donate more money to our charitable partners.”

Harrington has three top-10 finishes in 2010, with his best finish being a tie for third at the World Golf Championships – CA Championship. He is currently ranked 49th on the PGA TOUR money list and ranked 30th on the PGA TOUR career earnings list.

He will join already committed players Kenny Perry, Vijay Singh, Hunter Mahan, Stewart Cink, Justin Rose, Adam Scott, John Daly, Rickie Fowler and more. The Travelers Championship is the PGA TOUR’s only early summer stop in the Northeast and will be held June 21 – 27, 2010, at TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, Conn.
