KEVIN STREELMAN WINS THE 2014 TRAVELERS CHAMPIONSHIP
Cromwell, Conn., June 22, 2013 – Kevin Streelman is the winner of the 2014 Travelers Championship! Streelman shot a remarkable round of 64 – highlighted by a back nine score of 28 and 7 straight birdies to close out his championship round. Streelman is the first PGA TOUR winner in recorded history to birdie the final seven holes of a tournament. His final score of –15 was one better than Sergio Garcia and K.J. Choi, who both fired off impressive rounds of 67.
This is the second PGA TOUR victory for Kevin Streelman, who first won on TOUR at the 2013 Tampa Bay Championship. His previous best finish at the Travelers Championship was in 2011, where he finished T-6 behind champion Freddie Jacobson.
The 2015 Travelers Championship will be held June 22-28 at TPC River Highlands.
