Cromwell, Conn., June 21, 2014 – Friday of the 2014 Travelers Championship wrapped up and our leader is 25-year old Scott Langley at –11 after an second round 65. Langley, the University of Illinois alum and The First Tee graduate, has been dialed in throughout the first two days, hitting 31 of 36 greens in regulation. Three golfers are just one stroke off of the lead – K.J. Choi, Harris English and Michael Putnam. Putnam tied the low round of the day with an impressive 7-under 63. Other names near the top of the leaderboard includes Dustin Johnson, Matt Kuchar, Ryan Moore and alternate Eric Axley. The cut line is at –1.

Additional highlights included this year’s first hole-in-one by Jonathan Byrd, who holed it out at the 158-yd 11th today. Chad Campbell followed up his impressive Round 1 score of 64 with a very consistent Day 2 of golf, racking up 18 straight pars. He is now just five strokes off the lead. 21 year-old and former #1-ranked amateur Patrick Rodgers, making his pro debut this week, impressed the crowds with back-to-back rounds under par, now sitting at 5-under par.
