Single-Stream Recycling
Behind the scenes, we diligently hand-sort recycling bags from across the course to minimize landfill waste, ensuring materials like glass, plastics, and paper are processed through a single-stream recycling system.
Food Recovery Program
With the help of our food vendor, Aramark, we ensure that surplus food is donated to local community programs, reducing food waste and contributions to social sustainability. In 2024, we donated 8 tons of food to 14 local nonprofits, which totaled 13,333 meals recovered for these charities.
Hydration Stations
Refillable water stations are available on-site for spectators to refill their water bottles and reduce the number of plastic bottles consumed.
Digital-First Communication
To eliminate unnecessary printing, we use digital tickets and QR codes around course for tournament materials like pairings guides and handouts, while primarily communicating with fans and partners through email and mobile platforms.
Sustainable Travel Options
Fans are encouraged to carpool, rideshare, or ride a bike to the tournament, to ease commuting and reduce carbon emissions, with bike parking and the Rideshare lot highlighted in tournament communications.
